Better than I imagined, maybe its coz its a new unit . Beds were comfy, room was clean and fresh. Staff very friendly. 1minus point, small parking charge if you stay a 1 hr later than checkout
We spent 2 nights here while visiting family. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean and the staff are lovely. They were helpful and always nearby if you needed anything. We stayed on the top floor and had a lovely view of the minster. The bed was super comfy and the room was quiet. We stayed for breakfast both mornings, there was a buffet English breakfast, fruit and cereal and was very tasty. Will definitely be coming back again.
Room was very clean but quite basic. Due to heavy rain, floodgates had been closed, effectively cutting off the access road. Several attempts required before finding an alternative route. This Travelodge is built on top of a car park but due to the weather the lifts and internal stairs were closed, forcing clients to use external steps and get rather wet. As this would adversely affect wheelchair users, I would have expected this information to be available on the website, or to have at least been advised by email. Staff were very friendly despite being extremely busy and under pressure. Food was good.
Lovely stay. Very clean rooms, slightly small but everything you need for a short stay. Comfortable bed and a excellent breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay again.
This is the best Travelodge I have ever stayed at. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a view across to Rotherham Minster from our room. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our meal. The hotel is new and in good condition.
A big thank you to Sarah, the cleaner, for doing such an amazing job during our stay. The room was always spotless and fresh, and she was so friendly and professional. You can really tell she takes pride in her work — she made our stay even more enjoyable!
I spent a night in rotherham travel lodge and unfortunately had an accident where I fractured my foot, away from the hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating, empathetic and polite, the next morning when i asked for support, also giving advice and hot tea. Can't thank them enough and will definitely be using this travel lodge again in the future.
Stayed for 2 nights. This hotel is only about 2 years old. It is clean, tidy and very welcoming. Shops are around a 10 minute walk away. There are some places to eat AND a cinema in the vicinity (literally less than a 2 minute walk). Staff are really friendly. Highly recommended.
